In any other situation, Eustace would be more than content to leave well enough alone. D's private life and habits are honestly none of his concern, and from an objective standpoint, he can understand the desire to hold true to a particular set of beliefs in order to be seen as less than human. Unfortunately, this isn't just any old place but his house, filled with the people he loves, and quite frankly he would rather die than potentially let anything happen to them.
Which maybe he'll have to do? Stay tuned.
Neither option sounds particularly appealingbut still moreso than the thought of either Dokja or Gray undergoing the same fate. (Why not just grab a third party to suffer through a little bit of juice boxing instead of himself? Because that feels wrong, and if anyone should be undergoing anything risky it should be him.)
He grits his teeth a little more but stands his ground. ]
